I am not a huge fan of YA books that start in high school, but wow LLV did a wonderful job with this one. High School has so much normal drama, but Banner has to deal with way more than a kid should. Perry is sweet, quiet & the perfect compliment to Banner. As their young love grows, Perry has to deal with her dad’s accident when she was a child. The emotions are so well written & pretty spot on of how teenagers can act. Some things with the parents seem unlikely, way too easy going. Although these characters in a way seem more grown up than normal teenagers. This was a sweet, beautiful romance & had me falling in love with these characters just like all LLV books do. I just want more of their story, more into their adulthood. The ending wrapped up way too quickly!

I highly recommend this book. Told in dual POV.
